How your holdings are valued
Translating units into dollars, and understanding gains and losses.
The value of your holding is simply the number of units you own multiplied by the prevailing unit price. If you hold 25 units, your holding is worth 25 times the current unit price. As the unit price is updated, the dollar value of your holding moves with it, in real time on your dashboard.
Your gain or loss is the difference between your holding's current value and the net capital you have invested. Because value is driven by the unit price, it is the movement in that price — not the number of units — that determines your return over time.
This linear, transparent relationship is deliberate: there are no compounding fees, performance charges, or opaque adjustments between the published price and the value you can realise.
